From an academic point of view, a significant amount of information is available to act as a basis for stimulating and developing initiatives to promote and encourage an increase in the level of waste minimisation, reuse and recycling within the construction industry. However, at present, it is not in a form that is easily accessible to those who are responsible for producing the waste.
